Well here we are approaching August, with the end of "summer" approaching fast...I don't know about any one else, but this has been by far the rainiest summer yet. Not a single full week of sunshine. Depressing. But on a higher note,I was able to complete the large scale mural. I gained lots of experiences along the way, like how to paint using a garbage can lid as a pallet, or how to get about a dozen spiders out of your hair in three seconds flat....and like how to paint when it's thunder and lightning outside, where the flashes are sooo bright, it almost knocks you off the scaffolding... I think I officially retire from mural painting...which is what I think I said the last time I did a mural about four years ago when Robin McLean helped me. He could attest to the stresses when painting Sponge Bob Square Pants and his friends in a little girls room. Still, those were good times, and I really miss him.
